Hello, 

Me and my good friend David decided to run this half marathon just shy of a year ago in the midst of the “covid pandemic lockdown”.      

Being caged up majority of the day we took it upon ourselves to make sure lockdown did not beat us and we decided to start running again to keep our fitness in top condition but to also boost our overall moods. We know the past few years have been hard, me and David ironically know that more than anyone as we have both had our own things to overcome… and now after training constantly, we felt the need to give something back, to help others follow in our footsteps. So we picked a charity we deem close to us as we really can associate with this charity. In an ideal world we would like to raise atleast £1000 pound to make a difference and to help us reach that mark, we will run in fancy dress if we reach that 1k goal. Which we shall let our friends and family decide.
