Dave had a brain haemorrhage in October 2013 and was treated at Hurstwood Park Neurological Centre at Haywards Heath. Thanks to the wonderful people there he has made a full recovery. During his stay and on discharge we became aware of the support services and aftercare guides provided by Headway. Whilst Dave has thankfully not required direct after care support, the advice available from Headway helped us both understand what had happened to him and what we needed to do to ensure his recovery continued. This is all charity based and is invaluable to people already shocked and possibly confused by what has happened. For people less fortunate there are counselling and theraputic services to help them recover.
