We have been swimming in the sea together for about 2 years, in just our swimming costumes, we started swimming in the lockdown and have just kept going, swimming all weathers wind, rain, sleet & snow.

Waking up, scraping the ice from our windscreens & then screaming, shouting, shaking & shivering, we braved the open sea, enjoying the endorphin rush that the cold water brings, in addition to the mind & body health benefits, we have made new friends too.

We saw this charity swim challenge, which is also supporting Sussex Dolphin Trust, one of us has seen dolphins & it’s truly magical to see them in your home town. We decided to go for it! We are both complete beginners and have had a few lessons with Ocean Set , Marianne and Andy have been very supportive, thank you.
