GroceryAid provides emotional, practical and financial support for everybody who works in the grocery industry and has been doing so since 1857.

The Charity has been at the heart of the food & drink industry for 160 years supporting colleagues through challenges and is overseen by 16 Trustees who are responsible for the legal and statutory compliance and the development and growth of the Charity.

During the pandemic, the Grocery Industry has been at the frontline keeping the Nation fed.  GroceryAid has provided support to all those in the industry affected by the pandemic whether that was emotionally or financially.

As a Trustee Dawood is committed to the Charity and the fundraising it needs, in order to continue to support the people in the industry.

The Coast to Coast challenge is an amazing cycling event covering 368km over three days. It goes from North to South Wales, passing through Snowdonia National Park and the Brecon Beacons and finishing in Cardiff.

Dawood commented, "I took part in the last challenge and this year, I am doing it again! Yes, it was gruelling but hugely rewarding".
