We help adults with a learning disability to achieve their ambitions
Story
Serica London is part of the Baker Street Quartership zone who are looking for volunteers to run the Royal Parks Half Marathon in aid of a local charity PiP who Serica want to help. PIP are a local charity to the Serica London office who provide support to adults with learning disabilities and autism to achieve their potential. They help people develop the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to live more independent, happy, healthy and fulfilled lives.
On Sunday 10th October our volunteers will run through the heart of London's Royal Parks and passing many iconic landmarks on the way. From the London office, Somar Abdullatif was first to sign up. Before lockdown Somar wasn't really a runner but has used the past year to don his trainers and is now a regular 10k+ fitness machine! We are hoping to convince more Serica runners to join him and raise money for a great charity
