well well well, who would of thought it, two years ago if i'd of said the lazy arse, beer guzzling, pie munching machine that was me was going to attempt a half marathon for charity 99% of you would have fell to the floor in laughter? Infact, I probably would of joined you, 13 miles is a bloody long way!

Well… people change and so do their circumstances, as most of you know, in june last year I lost my dad to a stroke and no matter how much I wanted to, there was nothing I, or anyone else in the family could do about it. So on the 11th of march 2012 i'll be running/attempting the silverstone half marathon on behalf of The Stroke Association charity. This is my way of trying to help the charity with their research into stroke prevention and long term care so that other people and their families can benefit.

Every little helps so even if the squeakiest of my friends out there (you know who you are!) can donate anything it'll be much appreciated!!
IF you cant afford to donate, moral support is always welcome either on the day or in a message :)

One last thing, if you generous wonderful friends and family of mine manage to double my target... I PROMISE you i'll do the 13 miles in just a pair of speedo's and the running vest im required to wear ;)
