I have recently spend twelve days in Northampton General having an operation to remove a tumour of the bowel - this time I have survived and beaten cancer. Its a long road to recovery and I am taking it one step at a time. There is a lot I cannot do but so much more I can and with a little help from my friends and their friends maybe we can make a difference.

Please help cancer research continue their invaluable work to help those that have a daily struggle against this horrible disease.

UPDATE 22/5/15

Just back from an appointment with the oncology consultant and been told I have liver cancer - it seems remission wasn't quite as long as I had hoped for.

So my own personal fight continues but the bigger fight against cancer needs your help, support and a couple of quid from all of you to help Cancer Research fight this disease.

UPDATE 15/6/15

Have seen the liver consultant today and confirmed my worst fears - booked in for 15/7/15 for a gall bladder and partial liver removal and then have chemo to look forward too.

Update 17/8/15

After a successful liver resection and gall bladder removed I had to spend a month in hospital due to a wound infection. Now home again and resting. I'm due for another appointment a week on Wednesday to discuss chemo and the next phase of treatment but will carry on fighting.  Huge thanks to everyone that has supported me through this xxx.
