My dear friend Kate Savage, who I’ve known a long time, has had life changing surgery a number of years ago. Her world was turned upside down, however she has managed to remain hugely positive, she is the most sociable person, the kindest friend and  she has taken it all in her her stride whilst having a great sense of humour. She has had great support along the way, in particular from this charity. I want to run this half marathon for Kate to raise awareness, any donation however small would be gratefully received.
