Story

After starting cycling a year and a half ago, and really enjoying it, I decided I need to set myself a challenge. I decided on the Prudential RideLondon 100 mile challenge and to raise money for the Sea Cadets

I chose the Sea Cadets, as I wanted to help support a smaller charity, the ones that can get forgotten about.

With the TV and newspapers all about disadvantaged youths in today's society, I saw that the Sea Cadets offer life-changing opportunities to young people, on and off the water, helping them earn qualifications and gain great experiences which all helps to move them closer to doing whatever they want to do after school.

The money I raise will help Sea Cadets to keep on offering a whole world of activities to children and teenagers from all kinds of backgrounds, giving them a great head start in life.

The difference Sea Cadets makes to the lives of young people carries with them throughout all aspects of their lives. A friend of mine, who has sponsored me, said the Sea Cadets kept him out of trouble when he was younger & was very happy I was supporting them.

Any support would be hugely appreciated and will mean that Sea Cadets can keep on having a positive impact on young people all around the UK.
