I was lucky enough to meet the great man Doddie a couple of years ago when he came to Hong Kong to speak at the annual Indochina Starfish Foundation charity dinner. He's a terrific big guy and a force of nature and to see what he and his family are up against in his fight against this horrible disease is hard to comprehend. 

I knew I wanted to do something but not sure what when a few weeks back on social media I saw that a new fundraising campaign had been launched called "Doddie Gump" where they were asking people to complete some sort of measurable exercise and that's when I thought about walking the entire 50km of the Hong Kong trail. From that point i've enlisted a few friends to join me and it's taken off from there.
