Campaign by The Cat Welfare Group (RCN 1189649)
Who remembers Betty-Boo, our first incubator and hand-reared kitten? Well, Boo is challenging YOU to participate in our first 100 Challenge event - walk, run or cycle 100km (or 100 miles if you want more of a challenge!) and raise £100 for us.

Story

TCWG is a charity run entirely by volunteers and we rescue stray or abandoned cats and kittens and look to rehome them into secure, loving homes once they have undergone medical checks/treatment and are old enough. When kittens have been abandoned, we have an expert team of carers and can hand-rear around the clock. Thanks to all of our wonderful supporters, we've had the most amazing 1st year that has totally surpassed our expectations and in which we have re-homed over 230 cats/kittens, and helped many more. 2020 has undoubtedly been tough for everyone and, in terms of raising funds, it has been challenging for us as well. We have made a loss in each of the last 4 months with vet fees essentially outstripping our income. Vet fees are by far our largest expenditure (now averaging £9,000 per month) and we have taken on cats/kittens that have been rejected by certain of the larger charities on account of cost. So, here we are, looking to kickstart 2021 with some fundraising ...
