Story

Ally, my wife, has just been diagnosed with Primary Progressive Aphasia, a type of dementia with no cure at the moment.  She's only 63.  This condition is very rare and desperately needs funds to finance research and awareness.

About the campaign

Improving the awareness of Aphasia - Raising money for SAY APHASIA Charity. We support people with aphasia to enable them to re-connect with life. 350,000 people in UK have aphasia!

About the charity

Aphasia is always due to injury to the brain, and most commonly from a stroke. The difficulties of people with aphasia can range from occasional trouble finding words to losing the ability to speak, read, or write. Aphasia affects a person's language, but it doesn't affect a person's intelligence.
