My Mum was recently diagnosed with MS and I know that she probably feels alone sometimes or wishes that someone would talk to her about it more in order to help her feel better. This makes me want to help others who may be in the same situation if they don't have anyone or feel uncomfotable talking about it with those they have as they deserve to be happier in life.

Shift.ms is a socail network for people who have Multiple Sclerosis. It aims to create a positive community which helps those with MS acknowledge MS and work through their lives with it.

It was created in 2009 by George Pepper and his friends after George's diagnosis at the age of 22. MS is the most commonly diagnosed neurological condition in people around their 20s and 30s in the UK. Shift.ms was created to help those with MS meet others and discuss their experinences.

There are now 6000 members worldwide.
