Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

So I've actually reached the milestone of 60 years of age! A day that 7 years ago I thought I'd never see. To celebrate getting here, Suzanne and I had organised a huge party at Glasgow's Hard Rock Café so we could celebrate with our friends along with loads of great food, copious amounts of alcohol and brilliant live music for us all to enjoy. Unfortunately, the current situation has put paid to these plans this year. In return for what would undoubtedly have been a fantastic party, I was going to ask our friends, in lieu of any gifts, to help raise some funds on the night for this wonderful charity which has helped me through the last 7 years. Kidney Cancer and CKD patients are particularly at risk of serious illness were we to contract the Covid-19 virus, so, not wishing to deprive the charity of vital donations, I have set up this Just Giving page to facilitate your good will. A belated celebration can always be organised for next year (we already have!) but staying safe and well is more important just now. If you are willing and able to do so, please click on 'donate' and give what you can. 💜

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
