Children’s ward in DGRI are currently taking part in a 30 day baton relay challenge. We,r all attempting at least 5k per day ( walking, running or cycling) for 30days. We decided to take in this challenge as our morale was pretty low during these unknown scary times and felt as team this would be a fantastic idea  So far this we,ve all increased our fitness levels, morale has improved and all our spirits have been raised .... ( probably due to all the silliness during our travels :)  In all seriousness though this has been so beneficial to us all. We’ve chose to donate all our fundraising to Nith Inshore Rescue who personally mean a lot to myself  Hopefully we can do them proud. So please help us raise as much as we can all donations however big or small will be greatly appreciated ❤️

 Nith Inshore Rescue is an independent inshore and inland lifeboat search and rescue service serving the Upper Solway and surrounding area. We are always on call and wholly operated by a team of highly trained and professionally equipped volunteers. Your support will help us save lives.We are not linked to the RNLI and have to raise all our own funds in order to run. Circa £30K per year.Our Mission is “To protect and save lives, and when life is lost do everything we can to recover loved ones for those who are experiencing loss”.
