I am a volunteer at the John Holt Cancer Centre in Warrington and they have a fantastic joint venture with Macmillan called Little Buds, which is exactly what I am. They support people with Cancer, their families, or people who may have suffered a bereavement and may find it difficult to get back on their feet emotionally. We do small things like shopping, gardening, walking dogs or sitting with the person suffering with Cancer just to give their family a little break to have a rest, catch a cuppa with friends or just to catch up on every day chores.  Since joining this venture I have met some wonderful people and not only have I helped them (I hope) but this has certainly helped me too. It may only be a couple of hours per week but to some people those few hours are a lifeline helping not only the person suffering with this dreadful illness but also their families who also need support but who  may get forgotten and who always have 'to be strong' but just sometimes they may want a little 'me time' which everyone needs every now and again. Little Buds are there to help so many and doing this tandem jump is my way of not only promoting them but also John Holt Cancer Foundation as without this fantastic charity there would be no Little Buds.  I just want this wonderful Charity to receive some recognition and of course lots of donations too which they not only need but they certainly do deserve. Nobody is ever turned away from John Holt Cancer Foundation and they offer so many wonderful classes, therapies, open days etc everyone should go and visit them when they get a chance or they are passing their Centre which is based in Palmyra Square South in Warrington town centre. Go in and have a look there maybe something for you or maybe you too would like to volunteer some of your time they are certainly grateful for any help.

Anyway please support me in this with anything you can and no matter how much I'm shaking I will be plunging out of that plane on August 2nd for this wonderful fantastic cause.
