Elena passed away on Tuesday 4th September after a short illness. Beautiful, brave and just the best person I've known - a huge loss to us all. She was the brightest star. I was fortunate to be cast in a supporting role.

Elena spent a lot of her spare time providing information, support and ideas to existing and prospective vegetarians and vegans, especially in Russian - committed to a way of life that is sustainable and cruelty-free. Whilst her enthusiasm, spirit and individual skills with food might now be lost, The Vegan Society is there to carry on some of her interests. Please support them in her memory.
