About Us

We are 3 ex Wicksteed Park Pavillion employees who are very passionate about Wicksteed Park. All of us have spent lots of times there and it’s a place that holds many great memories in our lives whether that be going there as a child or working there. We want to do everything we can to raise as much money as possible for the Wicksteed Charitable Trust so that they can keep the Wicksteed Park gates open for everyone to enjoy. We all have taken part in previous fundraisers for the park i.e  The 30 Miler, Snowdon Climb and many of the fundraisers that have taken place at Wicksteed and across Kettering. We wanted to do the biggest and most challenging fundraiser thus far. 3 Mountains 24 hours! We also wanted to make this as our  group the last big fundraiser we do before we part ways and focus on our future endeavours so we are going finish on a high and go out with a bang!

3 Mountains 24 Hours

So the plan of action, We will start at 17:00pm on Friday 4th September in Fort William. Josh and TJ will begin the climb to the summit of Ben Nevis. Once at the summit of Ben Nevis they will descend and regroup with Matt where he will pick them up and drive them to the Lake District. Upon arrival at The Lake District Josh and TJ will then begin to climb Scafell Pike. Once at the summit they will then climb back down and meet with Matt once again where he will then drive them to Snowdonia. Once at Snowdonia Josh and TJ will make the final climb up to the summit of Mount Snowdon. Upon reaching the summit they will descend back down completing the 3 Peaks Challenge. They are aiming to complete this challenge before 17:00pm on Saturday 5th September.
