We are 2 farriers joining a team that will be swimming across the English Channel as a 4 man relay.  farriers Duncan Thomson and Dan Preece  joining Ocean Revival 2020  English Channel Relay swim with Matt mason and Gareth Mare’.  the  challenge is to swim from Shakespeare Beach in Dover, 21 MILES across the English Channel, WITHOUT WETSUITS and land at Cap Griz Nez in France. The Ocean Revival 2020 Relay Team are due to set off at the first opportunity on the Neap Tides at the end of June 2019, with an average water temperature of 14 degrees Celsius   

The farriers Foundation is a charity that provides financial and practical support to farriers, and their families, in times of injury or illness. They are a dedicated, independent charity for farriers, run by farriers and their families to ensure monies raised by fundraising activities remains within our industry and utilised where it is needed most

This farrier's charity is dedicated to supporting those within our industry who find themselves in need of assistance; it happens to too many hard working, skilled individuals. Illness or injury can have a devastating impact upon the business and life of a farrier and that of their family.
