Rett Syndrome is the most physically disabling of the autism spectrum disorders. It strikes at random in early childhood, affecting little girls almost exclusively. In 2007, scientists reversed the condition in mice, and now desperately need funding to translate this research to humans. You can learn more by clicking on the Reverse Rett link on this page. The reason this is such an important cause to us is that Lotta, Duncan's daughter has suffers with Rett Syndrome.
