We provide transformational support to people affected by mental illness.

Story

They don't call us an endurance sport for nothing...

This year Dundee Uni Triathlon are proud to announce our charity fundraising event; the 24hour Tay Bridge relay. This year we will be raising money for our chosen charity Support in Mind Scotland (SiMS). On the hour, every hour, from dawn 'till dusk and back again, members of our club will be running up and down the Tay Bridge in Dundee, covering multiple marathon distances.

Wondering how we get on? You can keep track of our runners on our Instagram (@dundeetri), FB event (https://www.facebook.com/events/2543672685952294/) and FB page (https://www.facebook.com/DundeeTriClub/)

SiMS helps those who suffer from mental illness, with particular expertise in working with schizophrenia and psychosis. Developing self esteem, building on skills and reducing mental health stigma are just a few of the ways that SiMS is active - both nationally and locally. Closer to home, in Dundee and Angus, SiMS runs the CU Thru service which - in partnership with the child mental health service - supports young people (ages 12-18) who suffer from complex mental illness. They provide a personalised range of services including regular meetings that help young people pursue their goals and enhance their well-being.

With your help we can support SiMS deliver this increasingly vital service. All the money donated will be directly presented to SiMS - we're both incredibly grateful for your donation!
