Sea Cadets Row 3000
Campaign by The Marine Society & Sea Cadets (RCN 313013 and SC037808)
Sea Cadets are coming together to see if we can collectively row 3000 miles, the length of the Atlantic, in one weekend! To fundraise towards young people and bursaries. We were inspired by the Royal Navy's HMS Oardacious team who rowed the Atlantic.

Story

Showing our support for HMS Oardacious, who are currently rowing across the Atlantic Ocean, the aim is for Sea Cadets to row a collective total of 3000 miles in just one weekend and fundraise for young people! However, we'll also be competing against other teams, with our individual live tracker, to see which team can reach the finish line first! The money we raise will be split evenly between our unit and the nation-wide bursary appeal, meaning even more young people will be able to experience transformational offshore voyages, whatever their background. These life-changing opportunities help young people to gain valuable skills for life, feel more confident about themselves and work together with others. Any support would be hugely appreciated and will mean that Sea Cadets can keep on offering a whole world of activities to children and teenagers from all kinds of backgrounds across the UK, giving them a great head start in life.
