Story
In November 2018 I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer. I had not long had my 40th Birthday and felt fitter, healthier and happier than ever.
To say I was shocked and terrified by the news would be an understatement, especially with a young family.
Appointment after appointment ended with me having a mastectomy with reconstruction, followed by a course of chemotherapy that was so rough- at my worst I could hardly lift my head from the pillow to take a sip of water!
Although active treatment is over I still have daily medication that can cause fatigue and gruelling side affects and of course, I’m still waiting for life to return to normal 😔
Assured by medical professionals I have the ‘All clear’🤞🏼the worry and fear will always be lurking in the background.
So I have decided to take on a challenge to focus my mind on brighter things!
Anyone who knows me will know I’ve always loved my gym classes and fitness routine💜 So after months of recovery, treatment and a big mean Lockdown it’s time to get to it…

We will be stronger together and cross the line together 💜
Thank you Team Phoenix for giving me this opportunity!
It can cost over £1000 to provide the support and training for just one woman in this process. I would like to raise as much money as I possibly can to enable more women like me to find some positivity after a breast cancer diagnosis.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read my story and if you are able to, please donate whatever you can 💜
