Anyone who was lucky enough to know mom knew she was nuts about red squirrels. It gave her great pleasure to watch them thrive in the garden, feasting on the various treats that she carefully prepared for them. You could easily argue that they were better fed than us! And of course, during the lockdowns, she appreciated their visits even more. To honour mom’s memory and to celebrate her birthday, we wanted to be sure that we chose something that was incredibly special to her, and protecting the Scottish red squirrel population for future generations feels like the perfect choice. Any donation big or small will be gratefully received, and please give mom a nod when ever you see one.
