At the beginning of February this year I found myself making a very unexpected visit to Brighton’s Royal Sussex Hospital having suffered a very random and completely out of the blue Heart attack caused by a tear in one of my arteries SCAD (Spontaneous Coronary Arterial Dissection) to give it its proper name! The care that I received from the Paramedics, A&E staff and everyone associated with the Cardiac Ward was simply amazing!

Then came Covid!...I have watched friends work tirelessly through demanding and uncertain times and I stand in awe of what they did and continue to do. Throughout all of this disruption the hospital still managed fantastic after care and follow up treatment for me, for which I will always be grateful. So when it was suggested that I could help raise some money for the Hospital and Staff I jumped at the chance....not quite realising how high that jump would actually be...450 feel (138 metres) to be precise!

All money raised will go back into improving our local healthchare services which we all depend on. As the recent pandemic has shown, we've never needed our NHS more than now and hospitals need our support more than ever.
