We support affected individuals & families to raise awareness of MPS diseases

Story

So I have decided to go for it and run the London Marathon on the 23rd of April, 2017 in aid of The MPS Society.

My reasons for doing this are to keep alive the memory of my older brother sister who suffered from MPS, Sanfilipo Syndrome. It is a rare, degenerative disease and meant as they gradually became older they couldn't walk, talk, eat for themselves and needed 24 hour care. My kind, caring and amazing parents did a brilliant job in caring for them.

Sadly this disease means that children do not live beyond their teens, and my Sister was 11 when she died (I was 5), and my Brother died when he was 15 (and I was 12). I miss them every day.

It is for my own personal reasons in living with my Sister & Brother who suffered with this horrible disease that I want to help raise funds that will go towards helping fund research into finding a cure, and supporting families who are experiencing the same things that I did.

Please give generously for such a worthy cause!
