Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

It costs less than £10 to teach one child for a month through the Warwick in Africa (WiA) programme. Please help me raise £750 this year to enable the programme to run next year and ensure it's sustainability.

I am returning to volunteer for WiA after an incredibly successful experience in Ghana in 2014. This year a group of six established teachers and teacher trainers will be travelling to the remote region of Limpopo to train over 150 teachers, in a one week residential programme aimed at improving subject knowledge and pedagogy.

This is an incredibly successful programme with ten year's proven impact. The teachers who attend this residential are hugely grateful for the the opportunity to attend what is often the only training they have access to in their career. Over 97% commented that last year's training helped them develop as a teacher substantially and that the impact on student's was huge.

Every small donation helps. Please dig deep and help support what I believe is an incredibly important cause.

Thank you
