Story
Our Father, Grandfather,, Father in law, Peter Watson ended his battle with Prostate Cancer after nearly 8 years on the 31st January 2017. He showed immense courage throughout his disease and refused to let it change his life, which he lived to the full.
The Arthur Rank Hospice have been incredible in their kindness and care, not just for Peter but all the family. We want other families to have the care we were lucky enough to have for Peter.
However hard this half marathon is for us it is nothing compared to the suffering caused by this evil disease.
God bless you Peter and all the staff at the Arthur Rank.
The task, now complete, has not filled the gap created by the loss of such a huge part of our lives but it has helped the grief. All the generosity shown by friends, family and colleagues has been very uplifting. Thank you all so much.
We Welcome Elizabeth Watson to our fundraising efforts. She has run the Kinloss 1/2 Marathon 19th Feb in aid of the Hospice. In memory of her father and for all those who have lost their Dads. As I suspected Elizabeth has will put us all to shame. She completed the course in 1hr 40 mins and came first in the vets . Huge congratulations !!!!
