Elliot's Charity Football Match Challenge

Over the course of 4 weeks I'm going to run 10km for two consecutive days and then every third day I will undertake a nominated fitness task. This equates to running nearly 5 marathons in 19 days, in addition to the random challenges on nine of the other days!

for example:

• Day 1: 10km run
• Day 2: 10km run
• Day 3: Fitness Challenge (e.g - mile swim) 
• Day 4: 10km run 
• Day 5: 10km run
• Day 6: Fitness Challenge (e.g - 1000 push ups)                                                                       ....etc.....                                                                                                                                                         up to Day 28.

Once you've donated you can drop me a message and suggest a wacky challenge for me to do (within reason)!  

So, why am I doing this challenge?

- I've been fortunate enough to be selected to play in a charity Staff v Students football match in aid of Brain Tumour Research & Pompey in the Community. The match is taking place at Fratton Park, the home of Portsmouth F.C. on the evening of Friday 25th May 2018.

- Helping research into any form of cancer is particularly relevant to me as close family members have had to overcome this life-threatening disease. 

- We are raising money for two different charities and the funds are being split 50/50 between Pompey in the Community and Brain Tumour research (Charity no1153487)

Tickets for the game will be available to purchase nearer the time, please let me know if you want to come and watch the students smash the staff!
