Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My gorgeous twin girls were born at 30 weeks and have faced numerous challenges along the way, time in Intensive car, Special care unit and eventually we go them back home. Only a few weeks later they were both back in to undergo emergency Hernia operations.. Due to the little girlies spending a huge amount of time on there backs they have developed Flat head syndrome which will now not correct itself left unassisted. The NHS wont fund this due to the belief it is only cosmetic, However this doesn't ring true with other "cosmetic surgerys" the NHS offer if in adulthood it causes mental illness / Depression.

My girls are gorgeous and always will be and i want to make sure we do everything we can to ensure there life as they get older is not hindered by potential self esteem issues due to any shape differences in there head, Alignment of ears etc.

Many babies certainly those premature have exactly these issues but as-long as the NHS choose to ignore this treatment being essential parents are forced into paying the huge cost of the treatment or burdening the possibility that in the future this may cause there little ones issues.

We as a family will be funding the most part of this if not all but would like to ask for anyone's generosity to help us and other babies out there that really do need this treatment.

Lucas my 13 year old son and i will be undertaking a marathon bike ride in December from Witney - Bournemouth Beach, This is over a 100 miles across country and one hell of a challenge, Lucas is way fitter than me so sure he will be fine.

Any thing you can give is greatly appreciated
