Story
On 1 August 2014, my friend Ros gave birth to a beautiful baby boy Patrick. Sadly, Patrick suffered severe brain damage at birth. He has since had an early diagnosis of quadriplegic cerebral palsy with dystonia.
Ros, her husband Ben and their families have been inspirational since Patrick's birth, doing everything they can to give Patrick the best shot at defying his prognosis.
One of Patrick's many appointments is his weekly trip to Small Steps, a charity providing specialist help and support to parents with physically disabled children. It is a wonderful charity and Patrick benefits enormously from it, working with other pre-school children on all areas of his development. Small Steps receives no statutory funding and is solely dependent on grants, donations and fundraising in order to operate. You can read more about the charity here: www.smallsteps.org.uk/about-small-steps/
Anything at all you can spare towards this great cause would be much appreciated.
