Sleep Out 2019
Campaign by One25 (RCN 1062391)
Our brave team of 30 fundraisers will ditch their duvets and swap comfort for concrete on 11 October. We're sleeping out in the open for one night so that street sex-working women don't have to.

Story

80% of women who street sex-work are homeless. One25 are a charity who work directly with street sex-working women to provide outreach, casework and essential resources for their future.

On 11 October, A few of us from the Albion Child Law Team,  Fiona from our Crime Team and our Chambers’ Director, Paul will be ditching our duvets and swapping comfort for concrete to take part in the Sleep Out 2019 with One25. We hope to raise money to help women in Bristol escape street sex-work, and raise awareness of the reality of their daily struggle.

The women One25 support do not have the luxury of only sleeping out for one night. We really appreciate your support. Your generosity will help One25 to continue to provide life-changing services to street sex-working women. £50 can pay for a caseworker to visit a lonely woman in hospital who needs to know she's not been forgotten. Just £5 can buy a home-cooked drop-in meal, giving hungry women vital nourishment. Thank you from all of us in the Albion Child Law Team.

We reach out to some of Bristol’s most marginalised women. We support them to move from crisis and trauma towards independence in the community. Wherever they are in their journeys, we give love and practical support. Our vision is of a world where all women are safe, feel loved and thrive.
