Henry William Brown was born on 7th December 2017 at 21.24pm only 27 weeks and 3 days weighing 2lb 8oz.

Henry spent 18 days in Intensive Care, 12 days in High Dependency and 39 in Special Care on the NICU ward at Hull Women & Children Hospital.

We then were given an Outreach Nurse until Henry was 44 weeks old to help our transition to home life.

We can not offer enough praise and thanks for the staff on the NICU ward for all they have done and will continue to do for our little miracle. We will forever be grateful.

Hull NICU ward is expectionally focus upon involving the parents in babies care from the moment they are born regardless of the age, size or medical conditions. 

We would like to raise money to help fund these initiatives which are not NHS funded for example quilt covers for parent rooms, a TV for the milk expressing room which houses Mummy’s for hundreds of hours which I can personally attest, My Journey dairy’s for parents to allow time to reflect on the long days spent at babies bedside.  The list of how Hull NICU go above and beyond could go on and on. 

We will be organising various events to raise monies which we hope you will support but also welcome a one off donation.
