Story

Myself and 5 others have chosen to cover 992 miles in the month of May! We will be completing this by either running, walking, cycling or using the cross trainer. This means an individual effort of 5.4 miles a day!

We are doing this in honour of HRH Prince Phillip. Some of you may not know that HRH played a massive part in supporting charities, in fact he was associated with 992 of them! Which is why we are covering 992 miles 😊

HRH was a massive advocate in supporting wildlife charities and being involved with anything to do with the outdoors, including the Duke of Edinburgh Awards Scheme. We have decided to take part in this charity event to show our gratitude to HRH.

The team and I are currently on deployment in the Falklands Islands, so felt it was appropriate to be raising money for a charity that conserve the Falklands natural environment through community outreach, practical conservation research and delivery. We would very much appreciate any support and encouragement throughout the next 31 days 😁
