Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On Saturday 11th July i along with a few of my dear friends will be taking on the pretty muddy 5K to raise money for cancer research!
Had a huge shock 7 months ago to find out my young strong healthy partner had cancer.. Not something you would ever expect at 30 years old with a 1 year old son!! After 2 operations and a grueling course of radiotherapy things are looking up thanks to Cancer research!!
Saturday will be a special and emotional day as we run in remembrance of Sheila one of my best friends mums.. Only 55 and taken from her family cruelly just 2 weeks ago after 18 months of battling! Life is very cruel and unfair at times and these things are certainly sent to try us and im unsure why!?! I cant even imagine having to endure such pain of loosing someone so close to me.
My thoughts go to all those and there families who are fighting.. And those that we have sadly lost not to forget the amazing Jill Prince and my partners father Brendan Henry who are both sorely missed!
Cancer is going to effect us all at some point in our lives FACT! So remember every penny counts to raise funds to protect our loved ones against this deadly disease that sneaks up on us and brings even the strongest down! Lets find a cure better treatments more facilities. Lets kick cancers arse!!!
