Story
.
If you’re reading this you’ve probably been told that the beautiful Thea passed away in her sleep on March 27th.
I had spoken with Nic the day before about their plans together as a family of three for their first Mother’s Day and as usual they were going swimming in the morning like they did every Sunday and then for a roast dinner at the venue of their upcoming wedding in August where Thea was to under go flower girl duties.
Only, on the morning of Mother’s Day when Ben & Nic went to check on Thea they found that their cheeky little girl had devastatingly slipped away in the night. No parents should ever have to bury their child at any age but least of all a baby of 10 months old. This makes coming to terms with it all the more earth shattering for not only Thea’s Mummy & Daddy but all who had met and loved her.
Those of you that witnessed Ben & Nic as parents would all agree they were 100% dedicated to giving Thea the best life imaginable and that’s exactly what they did, which again makes this all the more painful and unfair.
No amount of fundraising can change what has happened but I know Nic & Ben are desperate to see some good come from this so as a small way to show our love for them and beautiful Thea myself and Thea’s Aunty Zoe will be running/crawling the hackney half marathon in May with the intentions of raising as much money as we can for the Lullaby trust a charity that work to reduce the rate of Sudden infant death syndrome and provides emotional support for bereaved families.
It is so important to Nic & Ben that we continue to say Thea’s name and we celebrate her short but meaningful life.
Please give what you can it means more than you will ever know 💛
