My name is Amos and I am 8 years old. I have Down's syndrome and am trying to raise £21 for Down's Syndrome Oxford, a local charity who have supported me since I was born. DSO provide help for new families who have a child like me. I attended their Early Development Group from around 15 months so that I was ready to start school like all my friends and DSO also help with training courses for my family, teachers and TAs to make sure they can support me to do really well in life. I have made so many brilliant friends through DSO and they need your support this year as we have been unable to raise funds in the normal way. DSO is run by parents just like mine. 

DSO has asked all it's members to try and raise £21 for World Down's Syndrome Day on March 21st. I am going to try and walk a mile 21 times between now and then. It's really difficult for me to do that as I have low muscle tone and get tired easily. If I'm honest, I'd much rather be watching telly and playing on my iPad, but Mummy says I can do it, so I will.
