Story
I just ran The Great South Run in the very slow time of 1:56 and would appreciate any donations to Translators Without Borders, a charity that crowd sources translations in times of crisis. Their work has included translating information for people affected by the Grenfell Tower fire, the West African Ebola crisis, and refugees arriving in Europe from Syria and elsewhere who don't speak English, but still need to be able to understand. More info can be found on their website https://translatorswithoutborders.org/ but in their own words:
TWB translates more than ten million words per year for non-profit organizations by working with thousands of volunteer translators worldwide. Our work focuses on crisis response, development, capacity building, and advocacy. By specializing in language solutions, we provide meaningful and critical support that allows the core work of a wide range of non-profit and aid organizations to be more impactful and to better serve communities.
Any donations will be greatly appreciated :)
