Every five minutes in the UK someone experiences rape, attempted rape, or sexual assault by penetration. 15% of girls and 5% of boys have experienced sexual violence by the time they are sixteen.The Survivors Trust is the only UK and Ireland-wide umbrella agency for specialist organisations supporting all survivors of rape, sexual violence and childhood sexual abuse. Their core aim is to ensure that society supports all survivors effectively and takes responsibility for ending sexual violence. Help us to achieve this.

Being a rape victim survivor myself, I know first hand the struggles and hurt sexual assault causes. Both Josh and I are passionate about making sure anyone who is sexually assaulted, regardless of age, gender, race or religion, gets the aftercare they deserve and we hope to help bring an end to sexual violence.  

I have been determined that I wouldn’t let the assault get the better of me and thanks to the help of my family, friends and sexual assault organisations, I haven’t let it. I would especially like to thank Josh for being my absolute rock through all of this; for being strong for me when I couldn’t be strong for myself.
