Okay, I'll be honest. It was my good friend Dawn who signed up for this originally but she can't now do it, so I've agreed to take over the baton on her behalf. As it happens, I'm more than happy to raise money for Macmillan, as a good friend Carl died 3 years ago from bowel cancer at the young age of 33, and he was well looked after by the Macmillan nurses.
