In June & July 2019, ten soldiers from 3rd Battalion, The Parachute Regiment will be conducting a weighted march from Arnhem to Normandy. The route will go from the drop zones of Operation Market Garden in Arnhem, through the Rhine Crossing, Bastogne and the Ardennes battlefields, finishing at Merville Battery in Normandy. 

The soldiers will be marching with 35lb rucksacks, covering up to 30 miles per day. This will be to commemorate the 75th anniversary of the battles of Normandy and Arnhem, raising money for the regimental charity, Support Our Paras.
