Story

Hi everyone,

As most of you will know, our mum was diagnosed with Ocular Melanoma 12 years ago. Robbed of her vision in one eye, Mum learnt to live with this disability and was forced to adapt to life without her once perfect eyesight. In August of this year, we discovered that Mum's cancer had spread to her liver.

Right up to her death in October, Mum showed great strength and courage despite her lack of vision, and sought to help and support others with similar ailments.

In memory of our wonderful Mum, we are asking our friends and family to leave a small donation in memory of her, in the hope that others with affected eyesight can get the support they need and learn to live without their vision. Thank you so much.
