On Saturday 21st September a whopping 53 Explore Learning colleagues will be getting our trainers on and running either 5k or 10k around the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park all in the name of charity!

Many of us are new to running so this is a real challenge for us but we are definitely up for it! We are motivated to finish the course as we know every step we take we are raising money to support a wonderful charity.

Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity is a charity close to our hearts as Explore Learnings' charity partner since 2016. Just like us they believe every child deserves the best start in life to fulfil their potential.

Roald Dahl believed in the importance of children and overcoming life's toughest challenges. At Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity they continue this vision, providing children who have incurable and life limiting illnesses, with the complex care and support they and their families need. They have 75 Roald Dahl Nurses who care for children with a range of conditions across the country, providing physical and emotional support in hospitals and the community.  The charity also provides vital assistance to families caring for seriously ill children and experiencing financial hardship through their family grants programme.

Roald's Dahl Nurses care for over 21,000 in the UK at any one time, but there are still more children who need this support. Help us to ensure more children get the care they need.
