Story
I have decided to do the 2.6 challenge for Headway Norfolk and Waveney, a charity that supports people with brain injury or stroke as well as their families and carers. Headway promotes independence as well as rehabilitation, providing information and support services to those in need.
There are over 5000 cases of brain injury and stroke in the region every year*, absolutely anyone can be affected.
I feel very proud to work for this amazing charity and I see all of the work that goes into pushing Headway forward. This virus has already impacted charities and I want to do my part to raise funds and keep the important work we do going.
I will be biking 26 miles on 18th May, which marks the end of Action for Brain Injury Week. I will do this in 1 hour blocks as to abide by the government guidelines. Many of you know I am not a keen biker so this really is quite the challenge for me.
Please share or donate what you can, I appreciate this is such a difficult time for many and a lot of people are hard up, but if you can donate, I know that this wonderful charity will be so so thankful.
