FMB have been working as a team over the last few years to raise £11,520 (the 2013/14 stocks and shares ISA allowance) to help the Hydrotherapy Trust buy new pool plant equipment.

Team FMB to take on Yorkshire's 'Three Peaks'...

On Wednesday 13th May, “Team FMB” will be donning their walking boots and heading to Yorkshire to take part in their own ‘three peaks’ challenge in aid of Sandgate Hydrotherapy Pool.

The challenge will see the team take on the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, all in under 12 hours. That’s approximately 24 miles with around 2100 metres of ascent – by no means an easy feat!

Our fundraising total currently stands at £8,418.73 and we are hoping that our next fundraising challenge will get us a big step closer to our target.

A bit about the pool…

The pool is used by many local groups including children, the elderly, people with mobility issues or special needs and those recovering from illness and injury. Partly sustained by council funding, the pool relies heavily on money raised by the trust to stay open. FMB is a local business and we wanted to support a local charity, the Hydrotherapy Pool has helped and continues to help so many local people it was an ideal candidate for our help. Our team has had several ideas for ways to achieve our target over the course of the next year and we hope our clients and friends in the business community and financial services industry will support in this endeavour.
