Fundraising for Little Princess Trust
Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In October 2013 I had 17 inches of hair cut off and raised more than £400 for the Little Princess Trust and that was amazing, thank you to everyone who supported me. Your money and my hair went towards providing a child with a natural wig to help them look and feel a bit more like themselves. That's a wonderful thing.
"As a result of treatment for cancer, most children will suffer hair loss as a side effect. Some boys and girls cope remarkably well but for others this can be very upsetting."The heartbreaking fact is that there are still ever more children who have lost their hair through illness or cancer treatment and this time, I want to raise more than just the cost of one wig being made. I am aiming for 3. That's 3 lives made easier, more normal, and less stressful.
Let's raise as much as we can, remembering that feeling good about yourself, even in small ways, can help you achieve wonderful things.
That's a beautiful gift to give a child going through a tough time.
