Every year the shipping industry comes together for the OSCAR Dragon Boat Race to raise money for Great Ormond Street Hospital's pioneering research work.

The event takes place at London's Docklands Sailing & Watersports Centre and is a 250 metre race in colourful Chinese dragon boats. Faststream will be taking part this year with a team of 11, 10 rowers and one drum beater!

The money raised will go towards the OSCAR (Ocean and Shipping Community Advancing Children's Health and Research) Campaign. OSCAR unites the international shipping community to raise significant funds towards areas of urgently needed research at Great Ormond Street Hospital.
