Nevis Challenge                      
 
Hi, my name is Fergus, I’m 14 years old and on the 27th-29th July 2021 I will be taking on the challenge of  walking from Crianlarich, on the west coast of Scotland to Fort William, a total of 60 miles including an ascent of Ben Nevis on day 3.

Day 1 - 16 miles

Day 2 - 19 miles

Day 3 - 25 miles including Ben Nevis

I'm taking on this challenge to show support for my cousin, Fyfe who is 6.

In February, this year Fyfe was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour. Over the last 5 months he has demonstrated incredible bravery and resilience to go through a 14-hour operation, two months in hospital and lots of ongoing treatment, including having to learn to walk again and he has done it all in his usual upbeat, cheeky and very funny way.

The Child Brain Injury Trust are an incredible charity that have been brilliant at supporting Fyfe and his family through a very challenging time and will do so in the coming months and years as Fyfe continues on his journey. This walk is nothing in comparison to what they have all been through but it will hopefully go some way to raising some money for the charity so that they can continue their excellent work.
