My father Eddie was placed on the transplant waiting list after suffering from a severe kidney problem that really impacted his health and well being.  In March 2015, he was fortunate to receive a kidney transplant at Beaumont Hospital.  This was a great success and has totally transformed my Dad's health.  Eddie now is in a position to be fully active and to enjoy life to  the full.  

We are very grateful to the donor and the donor's family who have made this possible. By participating in the Women's Mini Marathon on the 5th June I hope to help raise funds for the Irish Kidney Association who have been an amazing support to my Dad.
