Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

We are a Sheffield based Explorer Scout Unit who like walking in the Peak District both by day and by night. Although we do our best to take suitable precautions to stay safe. we know that either as a group, or when out with family, we might one day need to be rescued due to an accident or bad weather. Edale Mountain Rescue have also visited us to demonstrate the equipment they use and give advice on how to be safe when out in the hills.

The plan is to walk from Cut Throat Bridge on the A57 along 8 Grit Stone Edges to the Robin Hood pub near Baslow. The 8 edges being the route of the Nine Edges Challenge organised by Edale Mountain Rescue, except we will not be doing the first edge - Derwent Edge.
